Aderfall

One Mine. Two Camps. No Way Out.

The kingdom was struggling. Poverty and crime were on the rise, and the king desperately searched for a way to save his realm.

The answer seemed to lie deep underground: Aderfall, a mine rich in valuable ore.

Convicted prisoners were sent to work in the mine, supervised by guards who were generously rewarded for their service. Supplies and workers regularly arrived from the surface, while the extracted ore helped restore the kingdom's prosperity.

For a while, the plan worked.

Until the blue Lightstones were discovered.

The Mystery of the Lightstones

At first, the mysterious glowing stones were considered beautiful. But prisoners working near them soon began reporting strange voices and unbearable pain.

The guards dismissed their warnings as superstition.

Then things began to change.

Insects grew larger and more dangerous. Some prisoners started behaving strangely, while others disappeared into the depths of the mine.

Eventually, all contact with the outside world was lost. The great elevator stopped working, leaving everyone trapped underground.

At first, the inhabitants remained hopeful, convinced that the king would send help.

But no one came.

The Uprising

As supplies dwindled, the guards sent expeditions into the mine to search for food and a possible escape route. Many never returned. Even the leader of the guards disappeared during one of these expeditions.

Desperation eventually led to a prisoner uprising.

Many prisoners escaped and established their own camp on the other side of the mine. Others became lost in the tunnels, fell victim to dangerous creatures, or remained with the guards.

Today, two camps exist within Aderfall: the Guards and the Prisoners.

Despite their violent past, both sides have learned to coexist. They trade with one another and depend on each other for survival. Another war could mean the end of them all.

For months, Aderfall has remained isolated from the world above.

Yet the Lightstones continue to glow. People disappear, strange creatures roam the tunnels, and the mystery surrounding the mine only grows deeper.

Your Adventure Begins

You suddenly awaken inside Aderfall.

You have no memory of how you got there, and nobody seems to recognize you.

Explore a connected underground world, meet the inhabitants of both camps, uncover their stories, and discover the secrets hidden within the mine.

Complete quests, trade with its inhabitants, collect useful items, equip different melee weapons, and fight dangerous creatures as you venture deeper into the darkness.

What happened to the missing leader of the guards? What lies behind the mysterious Lightstones? And why did you wake up here?
