Gunmetal Switchyard is a single-player sci-fi tower defense game about protecting vital data and restoring a world that has stopped answering. Build specialized defenses, turn open roads into deadly mazes, and follow Command through deserted facilities, evacuation routes, and ruined cities.

Stop them coming. Stop them leaving.

The machines aren’t just trying to reach your server hub. They’re coming to steal its data orbs and carry them back to the exit. Destroy a fleeing attacker and its orb begins the journey home, but another machine can intercept it. Your defenses must protect both directions.

Build your own killing ground.

Deploy towers on defense pads and eligible road tiles. Reshape open routes to keep enemies under fire longer, then combine weapons to exploit their weaknesses. Build and upgrade during combat as overlapping waves push your defenses harder.

Combine Autocannons, Flamethrowers, Sniper Cannons, EMP Arrays, Gatling Guns, Corrosive Guns, Howitzers, Missile Batteries, and Rotary Barrage towers. Upgrade each through three MK levels and unlock 27 campaign specializations. Change your unlocked specialization choices freely to adapt your strategy.

Break the machine formation.

Face ten enemy chassis, from fast Runners and armored Bulwarks to Shieldbearers, Repair Drones, Jammers, and Command Titans. Identify the units supporting an advance and disrupt their abilities before they overwhelm your line.

Follow the orders. Question the silence.

Across a 20-mission campaign, restore power, reconnect essential infrastructure, and search for signs of the people these systems were built to serve. The rescue stations are empty. The records raise questions. Command keeps issuing orders.

Pause to plan, accelerate the action with three simulation speeds, and replay completed missions to improve your results. Complete the story campaign to unlock the Map Maker and create your own battlefields, routes, and enemy waves.
