A Cat Lived Here

A cat moves in. Ordinary days become a life together.

A CAT LIVED HERE is a quiet, text-based life simulation about one cat and the time you share. Read everyday moments, make small choices, and watch months of familiar habits become a record of a life.

BE THERE FOR THE SMALL THINGS

A kitten watches your shoes from beneath a chair. A ball appears beside your feet. You can sit on the floor, roll the ball a little closer, or simply stay nearby.
Everyday scenes unfold as the months pass. Occasionally, you choose how to respond. Your choices leave traces in the routines and spaces you share.

SEE A LIFE IN ITS EVERYDAY DETAILS

One tile marks one month together. A circular dial follows the passing months, while small statistics record sleep, play, time at the window, and hours spent beside you.
Select a past month to revisit its memory. What begins as a few numbers and sentences gradually becomes something familiar.

FUNNY, TENDER, AND SOMETIMES BITTERSWEET

Life with a cat includes unexpected mischief, inconvenient demands, and household rules you never agreed to. There is room for laughter, affection, aging, and the quiet weight of time passing.
This is not a challenge to earn the highest score or find a perfect way to care. It is a life to spend together, and a record to keep afterward.

KEEP THE LIFE YOU SHARED

Complete a lifetime to unlock EXTRAS: a personal commemorative record, a separate 40-page storybook, The House Rules, and a humorous Human Performance Review written from the cat’s perspective.
Begin another life while keeping your previous commemorative records and unlocks.

AT YOUR OWN PACE

Choose from 11 languages and four color themes. Adjust the text size, font, and month speed. Pause whenever you like, and take as long as you need to make each choice.

A CAT LIVED HERE is based on the book The Cat and the Direction of Light (Korean Edition), reimagining everyday life with a cat through small choices and a record of shared memories.
