You stepped off the train at Trailer Park City to look after your grandma. Ten minutes later the Gallas gunned her down in her own front yard and told you the money she owed Saint is now yours. No cash, no phone, no friends - just her trailer at Sunny Acres and a payphone that keeps ringing.

CriminalScum is a first-person crime shooter about starting from nothing in a run-down trailer-park town and clawing your way up - from lifting wallets at the bus stop to cracking the vault at First Mill Savings.

START SMALL

• Pick pockets, mug strangers, lift bikes and fence it all at the pawn shop.
• Break into cars with a slim jim or a brick, hotwire them and drive them to the chop shop.
• Burgle trailers, hold up the liquor store, pry open the laundromat's coin boxes.
• Every crime has witnesses. Get seen and the cops come looking - lose them or get cuffed.

PULL THE JOB

• Buy your gear, hire a driver and a lookout, get a van - then hit the house.
• Pick locks, crack dials, bypass keypads, drill safes, dodge doorbell cameras and nosy neighbours.
• Go quiet with a knife and a mask, or go loud with a shotgun and pray your driver's waiting.
• Everything you steal has to be fenced - and hot goods sell cheap.

RUN THE TOWN

• Build rackets: protection on the corners, weed sellers in the park, a cut every day.
• Go to war with the Gallas - their corners, their stash, their boss in the back of the arcade.
• Knock out the power substation and take down the bank.
• Play the real Lerk Interactive arcade games on the cabinets while you lie low.

YOUR CROOK, YOUR CREW

• Make your own blocky criminal - face, hair, clothes, tattoos and heist mask.
• Play solo or bring friends in online co-op.
• Blocky characters, grimy realistic world, dark sense of humour.
