Orbit: Night Shift

The Great Rift tore the Star Harbor apart, right in the middle of shift change.

Seventy members of the night shift were travelling through the gates, stored safely in their gate-pass chips. Now those chips drift through three galaxies, tangled in the wreckage. Rhea Steelhand, the former harbor master, pays for the search by trading scrap. You are her scrap collector.

• Vacuum, press, deliver. Pull scrap in with your vacuum gun, press it into cubes and fill the cargo crate for the freighter.
  
• Wake the night shift. Crack each chip in a quick hacking game. All 70 characters have their own story, voice and animated portrait.
  
• Upgrade everything. Range, suction, multi-pull, batteries, a collector drone, a magnet orb, overdrive and more.
  
• Open rifts. Pull new cargo from three galaxies: better scrap, rarer chips, new species.
  
• Make the station your home. Rooms, furniture, pets, vacuum skins, and cassettes with lo-fi beats for the boombox.
  
• Lootboxes, but only in the game. You find them in the scrap. There is nothing to buy with real money.

About 15-20 hours to wake everyone, and you can keep playing after the ending.
