Every run is a different defense

Towers of Ruin is a roguelite tower defense. Ancient towers wake up in the ruins of a lost kingdom, and every 30-minute run asks you to build a new defense out of whatever the cards give you. Level up, pick a card, evolve a tower into something stronger, and get ready for the next armored wave. In the end, four final bosses come for you.

36 mythic towers

No plain arrow towers here. A phoenix dives through the horde, a thunder god calls down lightning, a void tower pulls enemies into a black hole, a golem hurls stone, a dragon breathes fire. Every tower has its own way of fighting and its own evolution.

Evolve with cards

Every level-up offers three cards: 48 blessings and 15 risky curses that can power you up or ruin you. Combine them, evolve your towers mid-run and find a build that has never existed before.

Read the waves

• Armor phases: enemies change armor during the run, so the right damage type matters.
  
• 50+ enemy types and four final bosses waiting at the end of the clock.
  
• Active powers: drop a meteor, freeze the field or call reinforcements when the line breaks.
  
• Day and night, plus giant creatures sleeping in the heart of the Caldera and the Frozen Vale.

Four maps, endless challenge

Forest Pass, Autumn Woods, Crimson Caldera and Frozen Vale. Win once to unlock 15 difficulty levels and Endless mode. Earn gems every run to unlock new towers and a ghost dragon companion.

Build your own maps

Draw paths, paint the ground, pick one of five themes, place build tiles and choose the waves from more than 50 creatures. Then play it right away. The best community maps may be added to the game, credited to their makers.
