Recess. Five plastic stones on your desk. Toss, pick up and catch them with a physics-driven hand. Practice alone from Onesies to the Flip, or play your seatmate until the bell rings.
Recess in a 2000s Korean elementary school classroom. Five stones on your desk, and a round of gonggi, the Korean game of jacks.
Play it with your own hand
- Move your hand with the mouse. Hold and release Space to toss, tap it as the stone comes down to catch.
- Your fingers wrap around the stones you hold.
- Onesies through Foursies, then the Flip. Each stone you snatch in the Flip earns you "years".
- Time slows while a stone is in the air.
A round with your seatmate
Rock-paper-scissors decides who goes first, then you take turns. When the bell rings, whoever has more years wins and the loser gets a flick on the wrist. Both of you get a certificate. You can also invite a Steam friend for a 1-on-1 match online.
Places and stones
Play on a classroom desk, on the floor at the back of the classroom, or out on the playground. Pick glitter stones, hexagon stones, pebbles or eraser bits.
