A new road every night

Detours to the cemetery, the woods and the river, dead ends, fallen trees, cows on the road. All you have is a paper map, and it lies.

All of Brazilian folklore is awake

Saci: a one-legged trickster who steals your steering wheel. Honk or grab him.

Headless Mule: bursts into flames, screams, and charges across the road.

Corpo-seco: a dried-up corpse that only moves when nobody is looking.

Werewolf: first you hear it. Then you see the eyes. Then it's too late.

Curupira: swaps the road signs and curses your map.

Plus the Boitatá fire serpent, the giant Mapinguari, the Cuca, the Iara... and the woman in white at the gate.

The van is your fourth friend (and the weakest one)

The engine stalls right when the creature shows up. START IT! START IT! Tires blow, the van gets stuck in the mud, everyone gets out to push. Strap down the cargo, because the clay saint won't survive otherwise.
