Your mouse is the baton. Set the tempo, shape the dynamics, hold a fermata wherever you like — thirty musicians follow your every stroke. Get sloppy, though, and they nod off, rush ahead, fall off their chairs or fire the cannons too early. A standing ovation or a legendary disaster?

Your mouse is the baton

Every downstroke that bounces back is a beat. Beat faster and they play faster; beat bigger and they play louder.
The tempo is yours, not the score's. Stop the baton and the orchestra holds the note, waiting for you.

Thirty musicians at your command

  • Stroke size is volume: tiny beats for pianissimo, big ones for fortissimo
  • Stroke style is expression: sharp for marcato, smooth for legato
  • Beat over one section to bring just that section up or down
  • Right-click for a dead stop; the next beat brings them back
  • Give the cue when an instrument comes in

But musicians are only human

Sloppy beating earns you glares. Change the tempo too suddenly and they fall apart.
Leave them alone and they doze off, rush ahead, slide off their chairs — and finally jump up in a rage.
In the hall, a phone rings and somebody coughs. One click settles each mishap.

A masterpiece or a disaster

You are judged on Art (quality and interpretation) and Chaos (how badly it all went wrong).
An A for art opens the next piece — and so does a legendary disaster of 150 chaos or more.
The morning paper reviews your concert. Conduct well and the applause and bravos never stop.

Eight classical pieces, arranged for the game

  • Beethoven: Ode to Joy
  • J. Strauss I: Radetzky March — the audience claps along to your beat
  • Haydn: "Surprise" — wake the dozing audience with one big stroke
  • Grieg: In the Hall of the Mountain King
  • Brahms: Hungarian Dance No. 5
  • Beethoven: Symphony No. 7, 1st movement
  • Ravel: Boléro
  • Tchaikovsky: 1812 Overture — don't forget the cannons

Easy to start

A practice mode teaches conducting from scratch, and the "Easy" setting gives you a very patient orchestra.

Note: the game's text is in Japanese only. A mouse is required.
