Your next encounter could change your team

Explore woodlands, river valleys, snowy paths and forgotten ruins in search of local spirits. Even creatures of the same species can have different aptitudes and randomly selected natural skills. Buy information from local people and follow it to the right location to improve your chances of finding a particular spirit. Venture deeper for rare individuals and regional bosses.

Raise a companion your way

Allocate points as your pets level up, nurture their growth, strengthen their elemental roots and equip spirit cases that suit their roles. Teach active and passive skills with books, then use fusion to pursue inherited abilities and further growth. Some rare signature skills can only pass to other species through fusion. Every new catch could hold a piece of your next build.

Build a team whose skills work together

Bring three companions into turn-based battles and give each a purpose. Draw attacks with a guardian's taunt, buy time with shields and healing, and link passive triggers, marks and offensive skills. Your choices in training meet your choices in battle: experiment with combinations and discover what a carefully built team can do.

Make a name for the family shop

Bring new opportunities home from your travels. Place pets with new owners, provide care and complete commissions to support the shop. Display your creatures in resting areas as visitors gather to watch. Raise the shop's grade and see its humble interior grow more impressive. Reinvest your earnings, challenge rival shops, earn a reputation and qualify for the climb to the top of the rankings.

Talk to people in town, investigate out in the wild and meet new faces through your work and battles. Stolen spirits and a suspicious debt contract point toward an organization with something to hide. Follow the main investigation and regional side stories as you rebuild. Save the shop your parents left behind, find your sister and confront those who tore your family apart.
