Embrace the role of a summoner in a world the Dark Lord Mephisto has already conquered. Your journey leads through the remains of a shattered land. Each region is guarded by a terrible boss. Your army fits inside a deck of cards: deadly creatures, powerful spells, and legendary cards. Every run is an assault on Mephisto's dominion. Every match is a step toward the final duel where you either banish him back to the burning hells or are forgotten by a world already lost.

A PACT WITH TWO CHAMPIONS

Six factions stand against the Dark Lord, but not for the same reason. Some want peace restored to the shattered world. Others mean to claim his throne for themselves. You choose two champions and fuse their starter decks into one. That compromise decides which cards the run will ever offer you. They are allies only until Mephisto falls. Yet this first choice echoes all the way to the final boss. It comes down to which pair of doctrines you're willing to bet a war on.

FAST-PACED TACTICAL COMBAT

Summon your most powerful creatures, cast your spells, and watch the battle rage on its own across the table. The position of your creatures is as important as their effects. Pick the right cards during your run and watch their synergies play out during combat. Six turns is all each summoner gets. When the seventh seal breaks, the blood ritual decides who survives.

DUCHY RAISED FROM THE CINDERS

A run ends when all bosses are slain or your champions fall. You then return to the Duchy, the last ground the light still holds. Even defeat leaves you resources to spend. Run by run, the Duchy grows. Its bonuses help your champions in all future runs.
